⚠️ Don't see your Grand Cup account yet?
The most common cause is that your KYC verification isn't complete. Make sure your KYC is approved before the competition starts so you don't miss the Qualifier. If you're stuck on verification, contact support.
Where to find your dashboard
Once you've signed up for Grand Cup 2, a dedicated Grand Cup card appears on your Tradeify dashboard. Open it and you'll see everything you need to compete in one place:
- Your platform credentials (top of the card)
- Your Grand Cup account number (GCUPXXXXXXXXXX)
- Your current rank, stage, and advancement status
- Account metrics — balance, trailing drawdown, total profit, contract limits
- The Reset button (Qualifier only)
Reading your dashboard
Stage indicator
At the top, you'll see the current competition stage:
1. Qualifiers — Stage 1, the 5-day open qualifier. Top 1,000 advance.
2. Group Stage — Stage 2, the head-to-head bracket.
Your credentials
Your username and password for Tradovate or TradeSea are listed under the platform logo. Click the copy icons — you'll need these to log into the trading platform.
Your account number
Just below, you'll see your unique Grand Cup account number in the format GCUPXXXXXXXXXX. This is the account you'll select inside Tradovate or TradeSea after you log in.
Rank and status
The Rank card shows your current leaderboard position. The badge next to it tells you where you stand:
- ✅ Advancing — you're inside the cut line and on track to move forward.
- Other states appear as the competition progresses.
Account metrics
- Balance — your current simulated account balance.
- Trailing Drawdown — the floor your balance can't dip below. Hit it and the account is marked as failed.
- Total Profit — how far above your $50,000 starting balance you are.
- Max Contracts — 1 Mini OR 10 Micros. Combinations are not allowed.
How often does the dashboard update?
Different parts of the dashboard refresh on different cadences:
- Account card (balance, drawdown, profit) — Real time, after each closed trade
- Daily journal — Once per day at market close
- Ladder / leaderboard position — Every 15 minutes
If your balance updates immediately after a winning trade but your rank hasn't moved yet, that's expected — the leaderboard catches up within ~15 minutes.
Start trading:
1. Copy your credentials from the top of your Grand Cup card.
2. Log in to your trading platform. First-time setup guides:
3. Select your Grand Cup account — look for the account labeled GCUPXXXXXXXXXX.
You're now ready to trade.
Rules to keep in mind
Max position size: 1 Mini OR 10 Micros
This is the single most important rule, and it applies the same way in both stages. You can hold up to 1 Mini contract OR up to 10 Micro contracts — but you can't combine the two. Holding 1 Mini and 1 Micro at the same time is over the limit.
At end of day, we review every Grand Cup account for max allocation breaches. Any account that exceeded the limit at any point during the session — including by combining minis and micros — will be marked as failed before the next session begins.
Hitting the trailing drawdown
If your balance dips below the trailing drawdown floor, the account fails. In Stage 1, you can use a Reset to start over.
Resets (Qualifier only)
If you fail your account, or if you just want to start over, you can reset from your Grand Cup card:
- Click the Reset button on the card.
- Each reset costs $29 and gives you a fresh $50,000 account with all metrics reset to starting values.
- You can reset up to 3 times during the Qualifier. The card shows how many resets you have remaining (e.g., "You can reset 1 more time.").
⚠️ No resets are available in Stage 2. Once the bracket begins, the Reset button is disabled.
Troubleshooting
I signed up but don't see my Grand Cup account.
Your KYC verification is most likely not complete yet. Check your Tradeify profile to confirm KYC status, and contact support if you need help finishing it.
I'm logged into Tradovate / TradeSea but can't find my Grand Cup account.
Make sure you're selecting the account labeled GCUPXXXXXXXXXX, not your regular Tradeify account. If it's still missing, contact support.
My balance updated but my rank didn't.
The leaderboard refreshes every 15 minutes. Give it a few minutes and check back.
I accidentally exceeded the position limit.
Your account will be reviewed at end of day and marked as failed before the next session. You can reset (Stage 1 only) and try again.
