Overview
Know Your Trader (KYT) is Tradeify's trader verification interview. It is a short, AI-conducted interview in which you explain your own trading activity. It is separate from Know Your Customer (KYC), which verifies your identity. KYT verifies that the person trading the account is the person who holds it and understands how it is being traded.
Purpose
KYT protects the integrity of the Tradeify platform and the traders on it. It helps us confirm that:
Each account is traded by the person who registered it.
Trading activity reflects the account holder's own decisions.
Our rules on account ownership, account sharing, and fair trading are being followed.
When KYT Applies
Tradeify may require a KYT interview at any stage of an account's lifecycle, including before funding, before a payout, or following a review of account activity. Being asked to complete a KYT interview is not an accusation of wrongdoing. It is a routine verification step, and Tradeify may request it at its discretion.
How the Interview Works
Format. KYT is a conversational interview conducted by an AI interviewer. You will receive a secure link by email.
Personalized questions. Questions are generated from your own trading history on Tradeify. No two interviews are identical, and you will not be asked generic or scripted questions.
Language. You may complete the interview in any language you choose. Answer in the language you are most comfortable with.
Duration. The interview typically takes [10-15] minutes. You will be told how to complete it and by when.
Human review. The AI does not make decisions. Every interview is reviewed by a member of the Tradeify team, who considers your responses alongside your account activity.
Your Responsibilities
When you complete a KYT interview, you agree to:
Complete the interview yourself, without assistance from another person.
Not use another person, software, AI tools, or any other aid to generate or dictate your answers.
Not record, share, or distribute the interview questions.
Answer truthfully and in your own words.
Complete the interview within the deadline provided.
Outcomes
After review, one of the following will apply:
Verified. Your responses are consistent with your trading activity and no further action is required.
Additional information requested. We may ask you to clarify your responses or provide supporting information.
Adverse action. If the review indicates a violation of Tradeify's Terms of Service or trading rules, or if you do not complete a required interview, Tradeify may restrict, suspend, or close the affected account(s), withhold payouts, or take other action permitted under our Terms.
Failure to Complete
If a required KYT interview is not completed by the stated deadline, Tradeify may pause account activity, payouts, or account access until it is completed.
