This guide covers Tradovate's analytics tools, Time & Sales module, hotkeys configuration, and mobile trading features to help you maximize your trading efficiency.

Performance Analytics

Traders can access their account analytics directly from Tradovate to review trading performance over any date range.

To access Performance Analytics:

  1. Log into your Tradovate account

  2. Click the Reports icon on the right-hand side of the screen

  3. Select the Performance tab

  4. Select your date range and click Go

The Performance report provides comprehensive analytics for your account including profit/loss metrics, win rate, and trade statistics:

Time & Sales Module

The T&S (Time & Sales) module available in the Tradovate Web App is a market data tool that shows real-time trade executions for your selected market. This feature is sometimes known as a Tape or Data Stream on other trading platforms.

Display Overview

Once you select an instrument in the T&S module, you'll begin seeing all individual trades for that market update in real time. Each row in the module represents a single executed trade.

At the top of the T&S module, the Last Trade price is displayed along with the net change for the current session, shown in both points and percentage. Next to that, you'll see the Total Volume of contracts traded during the session. A Volume Filter is also available, allowing you to view only trades that meet or exceed a specified contract size.

Trades displayed in green represent Buy orders, while red indicates Sell orders. Rows that appear white or black (depending on your theme settings) signify additional fills in the same direction at the same price as the most recent trade.

Available Columns

For every trade printed in the T&S module, the following information will be displayed:

  • Timestamp: Shows the precise time the trade occurred, down to the thousandths of a second

  • Price: Displays the price at which the trade was executed

  • Size: Indicates the number of contracts in the trade

  • Acc: Represents the accumulated volume at that price for the selected market during the current session

There are no additional columns or settings available for customization in the T&S module. Additional instruments can be added to each module using new tabs.

Hotkeys

Hotkeys in the Tradovate Web App are fully customizable and can be used for functions such as order entry, module management, and quick navigation around your workspace.

How to Enable Hotkeys

Hotkeys are disabled by default. To enable them:

Step 1: Click Application Settings in the top-right corner, then select the Preferences tab.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Hotkeys section and toggle them on.

Step 3: Click the blue Edit Hotkeys button to configure your hotkey combinations.

Configuring Hotkeys

The Hotkey Editor is organized into sections. Click the arrow on the right side of each section to expand and view the available hotkeys.

To assign a hotkey, toggle it on, click the blank textbox, and press your desired key combination all at once using your keyboard.

After pressing your key combination, click anywhere else on the page. A green banner will confirm your hotkey was saved successfully.

Resetting Hotkeys

To reset an individual hotkey, click the Reset button next to its configuration text box.

To reset all configured hotkeys, click the Restore Default button at the top of the Hotkey Editor page. Note: This cannot be undone and you will need to manually remap all your configured hotkeys.

Using Hotkeys in Your Workspace

After setting up your custom hotkey combinations, return to your workspace to start using them.

If a hotkey is tied to a specific module (such as a chart), you'll need to enable that module for hotkey use by clicking the H button located at the top right of the module.

When Hotkeys are toggled on for a module, a small keyboard icon will appear at the top-left next to the contract symbol. Click this icon to quickly disable hotkeys for that module if needed.
